At the beginning of this year my daughter Alexia decided she wanted to be baptized. I myself, am not religious but I was so proud of my daughter for following her heart and getting baptized!! It was truly a wonderful day!
On Easter, we all gathered at my parents house like always and had a wonderful dinner with some Easter Egg hunting! Both my siblings and their significant others came but unfortunately my Nephews and Niece were unable to attend. It was still a wonderful day!
While I was working at Vivint I made a lot of friends, but only two really touched my life in a way that a part of them will always be in my heart.
This is my friend Stephen. He is always smiling. He reminds me to not take life so seriously and to breath. Thank you for being such a positive person in my life. :)
This is my friend Deven. We worked together everyday for almost a year. It was a running joke at work that he was my "work husband" even though we've never been more than friends. Lol Deven always listened to my drama and never made me feel like I was bothering him. Thank you for always being my sounding board.
I must make a spot in my review of 2013 to post some pictures of me and my siblings. We are such freaks sometimes but I wouldn't change anything. There's always smiles and laughter when they are around. I love my brother and sister so much. I have no idea what I'd do without them.
In July my childhood (and adulthood) best friend came to visit from California!! I haven't seen in since 2009!!! I only got to see her for a few hours but it was so awesome!! We went to Leatherby's and just hung out at my parents talking afterwards. It was so nice catching up!
Another fun day in July, it rained really good at my parents house so my entire family (that was present) decided to go outside and play in the puddles. It was such a blast! I just love how active and fun my family is. :)
In August I finally got to see my Nephews and Niece after months of not being able to align my schedule with my brothers. It was so needed!! I missed their faces so much and my kids sure missed their cousins!
Here's a group picture of all of them :)
In October we did our annual family Pumpkin Patch trip to pick out pumpkins with all the Grand-kids. :)
On Halloween my kids went all out with their costumes! Alexia was an Imperial Queen, Austen was a Red Samri Ranger, Alyssa was Cinderella, Aspen was Minnie Mouse, and Aydn was Chucky (Don't judge lol)
Then came the holidays!!! Thanksgiving was so delicious as always because my mother spends two days preparing for everything! She is such a wonderful cook! :) Christmas as well came with family and food and I loved every second of it. :) I got to see my Niece and Nephews again on Christmas too, as well as spend some time with Andrew's family. :)
This year has been very kind to me. I have made some really good friends along the way. Either they moved in next door to me, I met them working or met them at a friends house. :) I hope 2014 brings me as much love, laughter and happiness that 2013 did. :)
